MABS & J is one of the oldest audit firms in Bangladesh with around 42 years of professional experience and Central Banks ranking as one of the top six firms at their last ranking done in March 2017. Recently, BB has published their latest enlistment of CA firms in Alphabetic Order and discontinued the ranking of firms. However, we are in the latest list in Alphabetic Order; MABS & J attends upon and meets the demand of the diversified services of its valued clients. It has developed expertise in Audit & Assurance, Forensic & Investigative Audit, Accounting Services, Taxation, Secretarial work, Corporate Finance, Stocks & Securities Management, Management Consultancy, Human Resources Consultancy, Information Technology Consultancy, Initial Public Offering (IPO) & Fund Raising, Outsourcing & Payroll Services, Feasibility & Market Study, Review of Financial Management System and Performance Audit of various national and multinational organizations. Our continuous efforts to ensure quality, practical advice, ethical solutions, and integrity have resulted in a magnificent growth of the firm over the last few years.

Legacy of the Firm


MABS & J Partners (formerly known as Saha Mazumder & Co) is a firm of Chartered Accountants established through the merger of two separate firms, M/S B. B. Saha & Co, Chartered Accountants (est. 1979) and M/S Mazumder & Co, Chartered Accountants (est. 1981). The experience of the firm is thus reckoned as around 42 years under the license of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB).

Effective from 20 June 2013 the firm has been renamed as MABS & J Partners, Chartered Accountants. This name change has been done only to facilitate future expansion and inclusion of new partners in days ahead; hence the new name will represent the former firm, Saha Mazumder & Co. Chartered Accountants, in all respects and will carry experiences of more than four decades.

Our Resource, Our Strength

Quality of client service in a professional firm is the outcome of skilled people. Hence, we give priority to recruiting and training suitable personnel. Our trainee accountants are mostly university graduates/postgraduates who had been trained under our firm for at least three years as articled students. Moreover, all of our staff members complete a structured training program, which combines practical work experience with an extensive range of formal courses and a number of management courses.

Other professional staff members are recruited on the strength of their experience, the standard of qualification and suitability to undertake the services offered to our clients.

Our role, as one of the leading firms in the country, has been achieved and is maintained by our commitment to and enthusiasm for meeting the needs and expectations of our clients.

Our firm has evolved a structure, which ensures that its size helps give to all its clients, large or small, a high level of service and personal contact.

Our Partners and staff are subject to strict codes of conduct as regards confidentiality and independence. Each client’s job is allocated to an Engagement Partner who looks after related jobs done by professional staff, which are generally reviewed by another partner as a Review Partner.

These professionals are engaged on  assignment to assignment basis, as per requirements, and are directly supervised by the Partners.
